“Screening Incentives and Privacy Protection in Financial Markets: A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis,” written by Liad Wagman, Assistant Professor of Economics, has been selected as the lead article in the first issue of The RAND Journal of Economics for 2015.

Wagman and co-author Jin-Hyuk Kim (University of Colorado at Boulder) show that firms' ability to sell consumer information can lead to lower prices, higher screening intensities, and increased social welfare.
