Women’s Track and Field Athletic to Make 6th NCAA Championship Appearance

Illinois Tech women’s track and field high jumper Olivia Jameson (B.ARCH. 4th Year) will make her sixth national meet appearance on Friday, May 22, 2026, when she competes in the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin. With her appearance on Friday, Jamison will become Illinois Tech's leader in the number of NCAA championship meet appearances.

This is Jameson’s fourth-consecutive NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships appearance; she has qualified in each of her four years at Illinois Tech. Jameson also qualified in the high jump in the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships during her second and third years on campus.

Jameson's leap of 1.68 meters at the Augustana College Penultimate Qualifier meet in Rock Island, Illinois, this season secured her entry into this year's outdoor national championship. The top 22 performers nationally at the Division III level in each event qualify for the national championships.

Jameson also captured the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference title in the women's high jump on May 7, 2026, and was a two-time NACC Track and Field—Field Category Student-Athlete of the Week recipient during the outdoor track and field season.

The women’s high jump event is tentatively scheduled for 2 p.m. (CT) on Friday. Live results and live video are available online on the NCAA website.
