Your Interview Questions Need to Impress the Interviewer
By Lee Junkans
One way to impress interviewers is through good quality questions that you ask the employer. To stand out, your questions should indicate your thorough research into the company. Write down questions as you research the company.
For every interview, have a list of 10 questions—you never want to run out of questions. The more you ask, the more you learn about the company, the more impressive you are to the interviewer and the more interest you demonstrate in the company. Keep in mind, you do not want to ask questions that you should know through your research (company products and services, locations, profitability & sales growth, training program).
If you do not know this basic information, do not volunteer your lack of basic knowledge by asking questions. It will be more beneficial to you by asking open-ended questions (use How or Why to begin a question). ALWAYS REMEMBER--LACK OF QUESTIONS = LACK OF INTEREST IN THE COMPANY (as perceived by the company).
