The Wanger Institute for Sustainable Energy Research’s (WISER) research centers and programs create a pathway to sustainable energy and water, specifically combating issues of climate change and water shortage using a least-cost strategy.
Our research centers and programs are designed to respond to WISER’s short-term, transitional, and long-term strategic plans. Our aim is to build a sustainable electrical grid, energy integration, and urban development while also conducting fundamental research on climate change and sustainable energy systems.
