Answer: Reboot of the Quality of Work Life Committee—a rebrand and expansion as the Work Life and Engagement Committee (WLE Committee) to establish a subcommittee to drive specific work life and engagement initiatives, act as engagement champions, and drive culture change across the university.

Question: What is the duration of the committee?
Answer: The duration and commitment of the committee is one year, and the committee will review the topics to continue or create new topics for the next year.
Question: Who will oversee the sub-committees?
Answer: Each sub-committee must assign a chairperson. The chair will assist the subcommittee in facilitating ongoing tasks and staying on task. Please note that the chairperson is not the leader of the subcommittee; each subcommittee operates as a team.
Question: What is the chairperson’s responsibility?
Answer: The chair of the sub-committee is to delegate the sub-committee on its designated tasks and not dominate the sub-committee’s members.
Question: What is the role of the note-taker?
Answer: Each sub-committee must assign a note-taker for their assigned group. The ideal person in this role will be responsible for meeting notes, tracking the group's progress, sending out any meeting details, and uploading data to the shared sub-committee Google drive.
Question: How often will the whole committee meet during the year?
Answer: The committee at large will meet quarterly.

Answer: Yes. Each committee member will have access to a list of members and their assigned sub-committee.

Answer: Yes. Each committee member will have access to the list of topics and descriptions.
Question: What if a sub-committee cannot meet twice a month?
Answer: It’s perfectly fine if your sub-committee cannot meet twice a month. We understand that everyone who is a committee member is a full-time or part-time employee. However, we ask that you communicate with the members of your sub-committee and provide some action plans for the month.
