Beginning in fall 2015, Illinois Tech began accepting applications from students who have received three-year degrees from accredited Indian institutions. Please note: This policy is only for master’s degree programs.
If you received a three-year degree from an institution in India, you may apply to master’s programs in Stuart School of Business. The Master of Science in Computational Decision Science and Operations Research program and the departments of applied math, information technology and management, and industrial technology and management in the College of Computing also accept students with three-year degrees. The Department of Computer Science accepts three-year degrees as long as it is accompanied by a master's degree in the same discipline. Illinois Tech’s other colleges and schools are not currently accepting three-year degree program graduates.
Per World Education Services policy on three-year degree United States equivalencies, if you are interested in applying to a master’s program at an Illinois Tech school that considers three-year degree recipients, your institution must have an NAAC Grade “A” from the schools listed below and your degree must be conferred in First Class with Distinction/Division I. Illinois Tech will not consider students whose schools are listed below but who have graduated with First Class or lower.
