Academic Advisor Harris Presents at NACADA

Graduate Academic Advisor Lisa Harris presented at the National Academic Advising Association National Conference (NACADA) on October 11 in Minneapolis, MN. Harris joined fellow presenters Sarah Meaney of Miami University of Ohio and Meagan Hagerty of University of Minnesota.

The presentation, “Addressing the Challenges of Advising Chinese International Students,” provided research on cultural competency and the international student advising experience and tools for learning about students' backgrounds and experiences.
