Apply to Take Part in StartupIIT, A Weekend of Idea Development and Entrepreneurship
Join the IIT chapter of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization for StartupIIT, the ultimate startup weekend from October 24-26. The event will be held at TechNexus, 20 N Upper Wacker Dr #1200.
StartupIIT is all about hands-on experiences! The goal is to bring together enthusiastic and like-minded students who want to learn what it takes to be an entrepreneur by sharing ideas, building a product, and finally pitching their ideas to experienced entrepreneurs and investors.
The StartupIIT weekend will:
- Provide students with mentorship to hone your idea and pitch
- Let students pitch in front of entrepreneurs & investors
- Give students a chance to WIN some great prizes
Who can participate?
- Anyone! All that is needed is passion for an idea, the rest will be provided.
- A student can join a team, even if they don't have an idea!
- IIT CEO can assist in finding someone to fill out teams.
What kind of mentorship?
- IIT CEO will be bringing entrepreneurs and professors in to work with students one-on-one in workshops so they can help make ideas the best they can be.
