Ashton to Attend Final Meeting of Pathways to Cleaner Production Initiative
Weslynne Ashton, Assistant Professor of Environmental Management and Sustainability, will attend the final meeting of the Pathways to Cleaner Production in the Americas in Brazil where she will deliver a plenary talk. The team will discuss results from their forthcoming final report on the initiative.
Comprised of representatives from Higher Education for Development (HED), as well as administrators from partner organizations throughout the U.S., Latin, and Central America, this three-year higher education partnership led by Ashton and Nasrin Khalili, Associate Professor of Environmental Management, has sought to promote and facilitate cleaner production and sustainable industrial development throughout the Americas.
