Associate Professor Krishnamurthy Serving as Editor for Special Issue on Machine Design

Mahesh Krishnamurthy, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, was selected to serve as editor for a special issue on electric machine design in the IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification. This special issue will publish most recent advancements in the field of electric machine design and numerical optimization in the context of electrified transportation (including, but not limited to EVs and HEVs).

IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification (TTE) is focused on components, sub-systems, systems, standards, and grid interface technologies related to power and energy conversion, propulsion, and actuation for all types of electrified vehicles including on-road, off-road, off-highway, and rail vehicles, airplanes, and ships. This transaction is co-sponsored by IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS), IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS), IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES), IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS), IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) and IEEE Reliability Society (RS).
