BME Professor Eric Brey’s Biotech Startup is Featured in ChicagoInno Article

Eric Brey, Duchossois Leadership Professor and Professor of Biomedical Engineering in Armour College of Engineering's Biomedical Engineering Department, was recently featured in a ChicagoInno article about his startup, Beige Therapeutics. Brey is working with Ron Cohen, an Endocrinologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Chicago, to build the biotech company with the goal of bringing the obesity fighting therapy they developed to market. The therapy is unique in the way it alters the function of fat cells to burn energy instead of storing it.
