BME Student Elliot Osorio Awarded Scholarships to Study in Tokyo

Congratulations to Armour College of Engineering Biomedical Engineering (BME) student Elliot Osorio, who is preparing to study in Tokyo, Japan this Summer as part of the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE): Summer Japanese Studies.

Osorio was one of 1,100 students who were awarded a Gilman International Scholarship that will help cover the cost of studying abroad. Osorio was also awarded a scholarship from CIEE. While in Japan Osorio will study Japanese, visit cultural sites, and study at the prestigious Sophia University.
