ECE DAY

The Electric and Computer Engineering Department will present ECE Day this Friday, April 13, in Siegle Hall. Over 60 students will present their research in a Poster Competition in the following six areas of research: Power Electronics, Pwer Systems, Computer networks and Communications, Signal and Image Processing, Digital Systems and VLSI, and Electronics and Electromagnetics.

ECE Day is also when we host the ECE External Advisory Board (EAB). Members of the board will meet with the ECE faculty, tour our laboratories and centers, and participate in the student research competition. The day culminates with the announcement of the poster winners and a talk by one of our EAB Members and ECE Alum, Dr. Bill Cordoso. Dr. Cordoso is the founder and CEO of his company, Creative Electron, and his talk is titled “How to Know if You Should Start Your Own Business.”
