IIT “Up to Us” Team Wins $2,500 Award

IIT’s “Up to Us” team, led by IIT Stuart undergraduate student George Batah, was recently awarded $2,500 in the Extended Outreach category, in recognition of the team’s efforts to reach beyond the campus community.

IIT’s team was one of 22 schools that participated in a nationwide competition that empowers students to educate their peers on how long-term federal debt can affect their economic opportunities, and what their generation can do to have a voice in promoting bipartisan solutions.
