INTM Advisory Board Member Showcases Gear Manufacturing in Seminar
Manufacturing students may be interested in attending a 3-day seminar on “An Introduction to Gear Processing,” created by Joseph Arvin, President of AGS Manufacturing Consultants and member of INTM’s Advisory Board. Arvin and seven professional gear manufacturing experts designed the seminar to provide specialized training for Gear Process Engineers seeking to move up in their careers. Seminar sessions include opportunities to perform sample processes while learning about the business issues pertaining to successfully processing a gear.

Arvin is an inventor, author, and seasoned veteran of American manufacturing. Prior to founding AGS, he spent 22 years as president of Arrow Gear Company, a precision gear manufacturer, specializing in custom gearing used worldwide. INTM honored Arvin as “Outstanding Leader in Industry” in 2012.
