INTM Industry Professor Publishes Second Article Based on Last Mile Logistics INTM Student Project.

IIT Industrial Technology and Management (INTM) graduate , Alvaro de Miguel, completed a Student Project titled Last Mile Logistics: Impact of Customer Service, Delivery Mode and Innovations in B2C Last Mile Shipment Costs while he was a candidate for the Master of Industrial Technology and Operations (MITO) in 2016. INTM Industry Professor, Gurram Gopal, Ph.D. , and de Miguel published an article based on that project, "Tackling the Difficult Last Mile," in the December 2017 issue of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) magazine. Dr. Gopal’s extension of that article (same title) appears in the July 2018 issue of Supply Chain Management Review.
