INTM Students Find Niche with Greenlee Textron

When representatives from Greenlee, a division of Textron, Inc., came to IIT’s Career Fall 2012 Career Fair, they left with the resumes of several potential employees from the Industrial Technology and Management Program (INTM). Since then, Greenlee has hired one BINTM graduate, an international graduate student from Spain, and a current BINTM student. Another student is working as an intern this summer.

Herb Shields, INTM Professor, visited Helia and Nazinin on the job recently. He toured Greenlee’s Genoa facility with Plant Manager, Emily Schnarr, and met with Human Resources Business Partner, Tim Mazzone.

Greenlee is headquartered in Rockford, with a nearby plant in Genoa, Illinois. Their business is manufacturing and selling power tools and related products to the construction and building trades. Brian Miller (BINTM ’13) is a Sales Engineer for Greenlee in the Chicago, Wisconsin, and Indiana markets. Rafel Mayol is an Associate Product Manager for tools and mid-weight equipment for professional electricians. Helia Saniee Monfared is an Industrial Engineer, and Nazanin Kheiri is an Engineering intern at Greenlee’s Genoa plant.
