Kenji Suzuki Chairs 8th International Workshop on Machine Learning in Medical Imaging
Kenji Suzuki, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Armour College of Engineering, chaired the 8th International Workshop on Machine Learning in Medical Imaging (MLMI), considered the top conference in the field. The first MLMI workshop in a series was held in Beijing, China, in 2010, in conjunction with the MICCAI conference, which is the most prestigious conference in medical image analysis. This workshop was the first one of its kind. As machine learning is essential in medical imaging, it has become the most promising, rapidly growing field. The 8th MLMI workshop was finished successfully, with high-quality research presentations and a large audience. The proceedings were published in a volume in Springer’s famous Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
