National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA) thanks Illinois Tech for hosting the Testing of Next Generation 9-1-1 Systems Industry Collaboration Event (ICE)
The National Emergency Numbers Association (NENA) Industry Collaboration Event (ICE) was hosted at Illinois Institute of Technology's Rice Campus on the week of March 17, 2017 by Professor Carol Davids and the Real-Time Communications Lab along with help from Lab Mentor Joe Cusimano and several Illinois Tech students. The ICE event helps NENA coordinate and maintain the national and local 9-1-1 service.
About the Real-Time Communications Lab at Illinois Tech: The Real-Time Communications (RTC) Lab at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) is a unique venue in which industry and academia connect and collaborate. The lab is an educational facility dedicated to teaching, research and development activities that further the advancement of networked communications. We welcome projects from partners in industry and academia. The lab hosts several permanent test beds that support courses and projects.
