PCA Students Teach Oak Park Middle School Students about Chinese Culture

On April 23, a group of eight Professional Communication Advancement (PCA) students, including five IIT Stuart students, presented on the topic of China and Chinese culture at Gwendolyn Brooks Middle School in Oak Park.

The presentation to 6th grade humanities classes was followed by a Q&A period. All of the students participating included current or former students of PCA instructor Elizabeth Johnson. The event was organized by Conor Gallogoly, who visited Johnson’s SPEAK sessions last fall and lived in China for several years.
