Professor Miles Wernick's Startup Featured in Crain's

Miles Wernick, Motorola Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering; Director of Medical Imaging Research Center (MIRC); and Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Armour College of Engineering, was recently featured in an article in Crain's Chicago. ADMdx, a startup founded by Wernick and his colleagues, was highlighted by the magazine for their pattern-recognition software that can analyze brain images produced by PET and MRI scans to diagnose Alzheimer's. The software also allows pharmaceutical companies to analyze their medication's effect on a patient's condition during drug trials.
