Stuart CMC Connects Students to Industry

IIT Stuart Career Management Center (CMC) participated in the Chicago CEO Breakfast session organized by the Executives Club of Chicago on December 16, which featured Alywin Lewis, Chairman, President and CEO of Potbelly Sandwich Works as the keynote speaker. Six graduate and undergraduate students attended the event with members of Student Affairs staff.

Varun Shrivats, a first year M.S. Finance student, said of the event, "I had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Craig Spencer, Principal Engineer at Baxter. He was quite taken with my undergraduate work, and informed me that I was the prime candidate to fill in a summer co-op position. I can only hope that I hear from him soon and that I manage to secure that position."
