Stuart School of Business Students' CQA Investment Challenge Win Profiled on Forbes.com

A contributor post on Forbes.com published on April 21 profiled the recent Stuart School of Business student team win in the 2016 Chicago Quantitative Alliance (CQA) Investment Challenge.

The team competed against 34 teams representing top universities in the United States and this marks the second consecutive year a team from Stuart has placed first in the challenge. The winning team included Ileana Cavazos, Jielin Chen, Mauro Hamz, Armin Niorumand, and Anton Vlaykov.

The national challenge is an equity portfolio management competition offering students the opportunity to learn and apply stock selection and portfolio management skills. Binoop Unmi, director of research signals at Markit, served as the team’s CQA mentor, and John Bilson, associate dean and professor of finance, served as advisor.
