Stuart Team Competes at CFA Americas Regional Finals
A team from the Stuart School of Business who won first place in the Chicago local round of the 2018 CFA Institute Research Challenge competed at the Americas Regional in Boston on March 19 and 20.
There were 1,060 universities that competed in the 2017-2018 Global CFA Research Challenge including 440 Universities from the Americas region. This year's Stuart team made it to the Americas Regional Finals, representing 1 of 5 final teams. The Stuart team did not advance to the Global Final, but they made strong showing to a live audience auditorium and a live broadcast sent around the world.
Congratulations to Stuart students Juan Palacious Godoy, Hani Elgamal, Shruti Khetan, Raina Shah, and Sai Harini Narayanan, for weeks of hard work and practice. Additional thanks to faculty advisor Michael Rybak, Senior Lecturer of Finance, who has led teams from Stuart to win the Chicago local round of the challenge 6 out of the last 7 years.
