Student Volunteers needed for the Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) Conference

As the co-hosting university of the Women in Cyber Security (WiCyS) Conference, the Department of Information Technology and Management (ITM) has been given the opportunity to support 25 Illinois Tech students to attend the WiCyS Conference. Attending the conference will allow students to access workshops, keynote sessions, resume clinic, career fair, etc.

IMPORTANT: Students selected are also required to assist with the conference as mandatory volunteers. Visit https://www.wicys.net/conference for more information on the conference.

For those students who are not selected, you may be contacted by the ITM Department with other opportunities to volunteer for the WiCyS Conference such as transportation volunteers to help guide attendees on the CTA from Midway and O'Hare Airport. The department is not able to offer conference attendance to these transportation volunteers but they will receive a WiCyS t-shirt and a pizza party as a thank you for your assistance.
