Below are descriptions of the possible add errors that may be given when trying to register and their resolution options. Law students must contact the Conviser Law Center Registrar's Office.

| Linked Course Required | You are attempting to register for a course section that requires registration of another course section concurrently. For example, registration for a lecture and its lab may be required to occur concurrently. | Register for both course sections at the same time. |
| Maximum Hours Exceeded | Registering for the course section will cause you to exceed the maximum hours allowed. | Undergraduate Students: Make adjustments to your course schedule or request a credit hour increase from the Office of the Registrar. Graduate Students: Make adjustments to your course schedule or submit Form G701 (Graduate Student Petition) to the Graduate College to request an increase in maximum hours. |
