Select majors offer specializations which students have the option to declare. A specialization consists of at least 9 hours in a concentrated field of a student's major field. Please check the Undergraduate Bulletin to see if your major offers a specialization. Working with their academic advisors, students are encouraged to identify a specialization in their second or third year of study in order to plan the appropriate sequence of courses. If you would like to declare or remove a specialization from your record, please fill out the Specialization Declaration of Removal form.
