The PMO uses a wide variety of tools and templates to professionally manage the complex projects within the portfolio. However, we recognize that projects of any size and complexity can benefit from certain standard project management tools.

| Detailed Project Planning Template | This is a detailed, Illinois Tech PMO-specific template that is available to our PMs for creating project plans. |
| Quality Assurance checklist | A checklist that contains a list of general checks and controls to ensure that projects meet quality standards. This list is primarily used for technology projects, like software implementations. |
| Project Status Report | A template for high level project reporting to executive stakeholders. |
| Warranty Period Processes | Guidelines that the project team follows to make sure that the project launch goes as planned and that any problems that come up after the launch are addressed. |
| PMO Project Close-out Meeting Template | This helps structure our project close-out meetings, so we can capture and learn from what went well and what could have been better. |
